A tale of two days
Felt slight feverish on thursday. Skipped lunch. Ate three crocins that day. Next day morning, temperature shot 104. Couldn't go office, couldn't collect mobile from repair. So me is living on dad's mobile for some more time. Attended holy family hospital's casualty/emergency dept. Felt little awkward on spotting religion column. I don't know the sanctity of such a column in something related to medical stuff. I so wished to write Indian and check out their reaction. But then, me just entered hindu. The moment they charged me 350 bucks, sorry about this, i started suspecting that column thing for this. Happens. Human mind especially when ill can think all awkward stuffs. Never mind.

Got blood test done. Leukocyte count came to 15900, some 4900 more than the max permitted 11000 thingy (4900? They should have tried got it rounded till 3rd decimal place). Showed report to doc in evening. He suggested to get admitted. I didn't felt my situation that bad worth getting admitted. So defied his logic and am on antibiotics since yesterday evening. Temperature is very much under control now and baring slight headache, cough etc, am feeling pretty much okay.

Watched Seema (Balraj Sahani, Nutan thing) yesterday. Great actor and actress of past. Loved the two songs - "Kaha jaa raha hain...", "tu pyaar ka saagar hain...".

Watched Lakshya (Hrithik Roshan thing) today. Hrithik is the only promising actor from the current generation. That boy can scale up to any role offered to him. Liked this statements of Om Puri (kal tak yahi jawaan udaas baithe thae, nau saathiyon kae shoak mein. Par dekho seepahi kitni jaldi apne aansoon pi jata hain). Very much a character of my home city, Mumbai :)

Hi,

Take care. I am not regular on LJ, as used to be once upon a time - so, saw the post only now. Get well soon. Dont ignore the Blood test report and the doc's advise. Some problems may not appear serious in the beginning - so don't make your own decisions. After all you are not your own project manager!!!

Thank you, sir. Will remember your advice :)

I discussed blood test report with brother. He agreed that it is the case of infection but said it's not serious worth requiring admittance to hospital. He suggested to go on the medicine course prescribed by HFH doctor. Am feeling quite okay for now.

Honestly speaking, this is one area where I will never have project manager. I have good friends, family members and buddy taking care of me :)

Only in my mind - I keep writing a lot of things, and time erases them easily and so no one would read/see them. And (un)fortunately there is no RSS feed for that either.

No LJ because, mostly want of time, and also for not seeing many of our old folks active enough to check regularly.

Hmm... Time to table proposal for SMR - Sasi's Mind Reader. Will you mind wearing a wired cap 24 X 7?

*grins*
